A particularly good week for our U15 players this week. The U15A and U15B teams both played a 20-over game on Monday, there was a 45-over game on Sunday and for those U15s who play in the Allsorts there were 3 matches in the week.
This week’s winning team is Whitey’s Stormers (Chris White) benefitting from the return of Whitey himself, who amassed 566 points, closely followed by Scorers Count (Geoff Trett – 556 pts) and Dadze’s Daddies (Will Simmons – 541 pts). There are no changes in the top two teams, but Vix’s Vixens (Victoria Keenan) and Whitey’s Stormers are up to 3rd and 4th respectively. At the bottom, a good week for Cheltenham Super Kings (James Waters) relegated Hillsy’s Hotdogs (Jonathan Hill) to last place. This week’s biggest climbers were Mazzer’s Mascots (Maria Waters) up 6 places to 22nd.
In the player’s list the big scorers were Harry Arthur (159), Sam Waters (152), Tim Dutton (131) following his 2nd conscutive 5-wicket haul for the 2nds, Henry Lait (105 pts for his maiden century for the U15s) and Lloyd Evans (100).
The transfer window will open up in the next fortnight and next week I shall be announcing ratings for new players and which players will be deleted because they are not playing. You will be allowed to make up to 5 changes (but not yourself if you are a player !) within the normal rules, so you might like to start thinking about whether you wish to change anything or just keep your team the same !

Fantasy League Latest
Welcome to Week 6’s results. It was another good week for the Club with 3 victories on Saturday, the U15As reaching the final of the CDCA KO Cup and the U13As winning the CDCA League Cup. Success means lots of fantasy points on offer and so it was a high scoring week. This week’s winners were Vix’s Vixens (Victoria Keenan) with 549 points, closely followed by West Tigers (Mike Kelly) and Do do do….let’s all do the Mantrain (Rich Stevenson) who both scored 530 points. These results leave the top 3 changed with the Vixens moving into 4th and Whitey’s Stormers (Chris White) into 5th. This week’s big risers were Stov’s Haemoglobin Trotters (Kyle Stovold) up 5 places to 11th, whilst, in the other direction The Internationals (Ben Ferbrache) dropped 8 plales to 26th. This week’s highest scoring players were Sam Waters 120pts (3-21, 3-24, 5 runs and 2 catches), Andy Gallagher 110 pts (80 runs and 3 catches) and Tim Dutton 100 pts (5-47).

First Week Match Reports
Visit each team’s reports page to check out the full scorecard and read any reports already posted from this wash-out of a weekend! (Includes a link to Friday’s Gloucestershire Echo report). Seems to me we were robbed of at least two victories by the onset of the promised rain. Better luck next week, perhaps?

Jackson Hits Out
We’ve been waiting and hoping, but at last we can all send congratulations and good luck to Jackson Thompson, who has secured a contract with Middlesex. But the good news doesn’t end there…Jacko is also playing in the new ECB Unicorn XI this season and has already notched up 51 from 25 balls against Worcestershire.
